I have only use these for one language translation but, I AM COMPLETELY SATISFIED.

Like the storied Babel fish of lore, you simply insert the earbud into your ear, and it translates language to your native tongue automatically! These earbuds pair with the WasTrans application on your phone (and require online access, unless you buy offline translation packs) to effect this magic, and they can be used in several ways. With "touch mode", you have to touch the earbud to capture voice, which it then translates. This is ok for use in a crowded environment, but somewhat slow. With "speaker mode", you don't share your earbuds, but rather one person uses your phone, and again, you have to tap it to start the recording and translation. The last mode, "free talk" seems the most promising, as you each wear one earbud and the system translates without needing to touch something every time -- better for one-on-one environments without a lot of extra sound.

These earbuds can also be used to play music, but sound quality seems to be optimized for voice, and music seems a bit tinny for my tastes. And, of course, they can be used for phone calls, where they work wonderfully as expected.

The translator ear buds arrived fully charged and ready to use. If you have access to the internet or data on your cellphone while traveling you can choose from 144 languages and their dialects. For example, when configuring the earbud language to Spanish, I could select dozens of dialects from Central, South America, and Spain. With internet access you can change the languages on the fly which is very helpful when traveling through several countries at a time. If you don't have a phone data plan or internet is unavailable, then you will need to download your chosen language which will take up space on your phone. The earbud packages includes a coin card to pay for and access a language. Setting up an account is easy and needed to use the app. The account is created by simply providing your email and assign a password, no credit card is needed. The download and installation was easy and the app works for both Apple and Android based phones. Five modes of operation are available. Several of these may not be practical if the person you are communicating with is unwilling to stick one of your ear buds into their ears. That said I think the best way of using this is for one person to wear the earbuds, and hand the phone over the other person. They will use the phone and tap on the screen when it is their turn to talk and you'll hear the translation in the earbud. The microphone will pick up your reply and send it to the phone which will display on the screen and speak a translation on the phone's speaker. While your guest or contact is using the phone you will hear the translation through the earbuds. Then simply tap the ear bud when it is your turn to say something. When testing this I learned that you should only give one verbal sentence at a time as the second sentence wasn't getting processed as the system is busy translating. It is easy to change languages while using the cell phone and the displayed graphics show which language the ear buds are using and which is being used for the phone. You also have an option to take photos and signs, say a restaurant menu, and the software on the phone will translate it to your chosen language. As a bonus, you can use the earbuds to listen to music or to accept and reject phone calls.

Wow these M3 earbuds works well with the WasTranslator App! The sound quality is superb! I love how quickly the earbuds work with app accuracy for translating from Spanish to English and English to Spanish. Another bonus is there are other languages that can also be translated. These M3 earbuds works well and are a great value for the money which easily pays for itself. So far I’m pleased with the battery life and the ease of charging the earbuds.

Alright, I was skeptical on how this would actually work. But it's actually quite impressive!

You have multiple ways of translating! You can do it via the app to show up as text, For it to speak back on the earphones or hand one earphone to the person you want to communicate to and speak and translate in turns.

Overall, it does work pretty well! Definitely recommend it to try and learn a new language if you'd like to.

This device is amazing. They are east to sync and set up. The sound quality is crystal clear and fit easily isn't even small ears. They are comfy and the accuracy in translation is incredible.
